My (Un)Healthy Relationship with My New Blender

Just before all of this social distancing began, my mom finally took the plunge and purchased a new blender. Our last one was one of my parents' wedding gifts... from over 25 years ago. This thing had seen better days.
I have worked in a frozen yogurt shop for over a year, so I know a good blender when I see it. My mom had purchased a blender like no other. These blades could cut through diamonds!
Every day for the past week, I have made a smoothie of some kind. This blender has now seen peanut butter, various greens, every berry in the book, and I've recently introduced her to a good friend of mine- protein powder. Being a vegetarian requires me to be somewhat focused when it comes to prioritizing protein, so this has been the perfect opportunity to get in quite a bit of it at once.
This recipe is my current favorite for my smoothies! It has berries, greens AND protein! I'm not sure what else I could ask for.

I first throw in one frozen banana. Typically, I buy fresh bananas, and when there are a few that may not get eaten in time, I'll cut them into slices and place them in ziplock bags to freeze. I'm happy to save them from their trashy fate!
I then add in a large scoop of raspberry sorbet. This helps to cut the common, chalky taste that protein powder has!
Next, I dump in two handfuls of frozen spinach. Seriously, you can't even taste it.
I add in lots of delicious mixed berries and finish it off with one scoop of my favorite protein powder and a one and a half cups of water.

All that's left is to blend it up!
This "recipe" made two large servings. I realize that not many of these measurements were very precise, but one of the fun things about smoothies is adjusting them to your taste preference! This is very easy to do.
Keep yourself healthy during this sick-season, and prioritize foods that give your body essential nutrients! It will thank you.
